Morningside Land is the land promotion business of Morningside Real Estate Group Ltd, founded in 2018 by Johnny Lovett and Scott Macdonald. We work with private owners whose gardens and plots have the potential for new homes, and we take the planning risk so that they do not have to.
Johnny Lovett
DirectorJohnny spent more than ten years as a senior project manager at Keepmoat Regeneration, delivering housing projects worth over £25 million, before founding Morningside. He holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying.
Johnny leads our owner relationships and site visits.
Scott Macdonald
DirectorScott spent over seven years in the real estate business of Cheyne Capital, working on transactions of £20 million to £150 million, and was a director of Vanderbilt Homes (now Elivia Homes). He is a chartered accountant.
Scott leads our appraisals and pricing.
